As the United States marks its 250th anniversary, several luxury watch brands are commemorating the milestone with limited-edition timepieces. Swiss watchmakers Zenith, Breitling, and Corum have introduced models that incorporate elements of American history and iconography.
Zenith's Tribute
Zenith has unveiled the Chronomaster Revival Liberty II, a modern take on its original 1960s model. The watch features a 37mm tonneau-shaped case, a white lacquered dial, and blue chronograph counters. The design includes a chronograph seconds hand inspired by the American flag, with 13 alternating red and white stripes representing the original colonies. Only 250 pieces of the stainless-steel version will be made, alongside a forged carbon edition limited to 25 pieces, both available exclusively in the United States.
Breitling's Commemorative Models
Breitling is also celebrating with two limited-edition models: the Avenger Automatic 42 America250 and the Avenger B01 Chronograph 42 America250. The Automatic 42 is limited to 250 pieces, while the Chronograph 42 will have only 50 pieces available. Both models feature a patriotic color scheme of red, white, and blue and are sold exclusively through Breitling boutiques and authorized retailers in the U.S.
The introduction of these luxury watches coincides with the broader celebrations of America's 250th anniversary, which include various events and promotions across the country.
