A spokesperson for its parent company, Kuehne+Nagel, said, "Apex Logistics is fully cooperating with the relevant authorities regarding this isolated matter within a wider US government investigation." Kuehne+Nagel, a Swiss logistics giant, acquired a majority stake in Apex in May 2021 and completed the deal in October 2025. The spokesperson added that Kuehne+Nagel has not been contacted by the authorities about this matter.
Apex Logistics was founded in Shanghai in 2001. It specializes in cross-border logistics and supply chain management. The company operates across the Americas, Asia, Europe, and Oceania. It was ranked as the top air freight forwarder in China in 2025. Apex was incorporated in Singapore in February 2016. It focuses on freight transport arrangements and cargo surveying services, according to records from the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA).
